Come for the vows, stay for the party!

Join us for a wedding like no other

We are beyond stoked to celebrate our wedding with you at Model Farm Event Center, and we wanted to give you a heads-up about the environment so you can dress comfortably and confidently. The venue is an 80-acre farm property out in Palomino Valley, so while it’s absolutely gorgeous, it’s also pretty rustic—think open skies, dirt pathways, and plenty of wide-open space.

Since most of the grounds are dirt and natural terrain, we highly recommend leaving the fancy heels at home—trust us, they’ll just sink into the ground. Instead, opt for comfortable shoes or boots that can handle a little dust and uneven terrain. Flowing dresses, relaxed fits, and sturdy footwear are the vibe here. You’ll still look amazing, and you’ll be way more comfortable exploring the property, dancing under the stars, and celebrating with us all night long.

We’re keeping the party going outdoors and indoors, but layering up is also a good call. Reno weather can shift, especially after the sun sets, so bring a jacket or something cozy to throw on. We just want you to be comfortable, enjoy yourself, and not worry about wrecking your favorite outfit.

Can’t wait to see you all out there! Let us know if you have any questions, and get ready for an unforgettable night on the farm!

A Family Affair (Without the Little Ones)

Don’t get it twisted! We love kids! They’re AMAZING! We adore our friends’ children and the young people who make our families whole.

However, for our wedding, we want to give the hard-working parents we invite the chance to be fully present and enjoy a worry-free evening… one where they can relax, unwind, and celebrate without reservation. A place they can play and party and release THEIR inner child, if only for a night.

This will be a child-free event so that our guests—especially the parents with young children who typically rely on them—can relax, celebrate, and truly let loose without distractions.

That said, our wedding is still a family affair, and we will have some of our young family members involved in the ceremony. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you all!

We hope you understand, appreciate, and respect this decision, and that you will plan ahead for your little ones to have the overnight care they need so you can join us for the full experience we’ll be providing our guests.

A Celebration of Nature, Connection, and Energy

When we started dreaming up this wedding, we knew it had to be more than just a single day of celebration—it had to be an experience. An invitation, not just to witness a union, but to step into a world that reflects who we are and what we love. For us, that world is the outdoors—the untamed beauty of the woods, the grounding presence of the mountains, the quiet wisdom of the trees, and the energy that hums through every rock, river, and root beneath our feet.

Nature has always been where we feel most alive. It’s where we go to reconnect, to breathe, to remember that we are part of something vast and timeless. It’s where we’ve hiked side by side, lost in conversation and the rhythm of our footsteps. It’s where we’ve stood in awe beneath endless stars, feeling small in the best way possible. And it’s where we’ve found countless moments of stillness, wonder, and joy together. So, of course, when it came time to choose a setting for one of the most meaningful moments of our lives, there was only one choice: under the open sky, surrounded by the earth’s raw, natural magic.

Our wedding will be a reflection of this love. The decor, the setting, the entire atmosphere—everything is meant to honor the wild beauty that has shaped us. The elements—earth, air, fire, and water—will all be present in their own ways, reminding us of the balance that makes love thrive.

For our guests, we hope this isn’t just a wedding. We hope it’s a chance to step away from the rush of everyday life, to breathe in the fresh air, to let the trees whisper their secrets, and to feel the energy that flows through this place. We want you to experience what we experience when we’re out here—freedom, peace, and a sense of something bigger than ourselves.

So come as you are, dress comfortably, and be ready to soak it all in. This won’t be a formal ballroom affair—it will be a night under the stars, a celebration of love in its most natural form, and a reminder that the most beautiful things in life are the ones that simply are. We can’t wait to share it with you.

What to Wear

Our biggest priority is that you’re comfortable and prepared for the weather! Since our wedding will be outdoors in the high desert, expect warmth in the afternoon but a chill once the sun sets—so bring something cozy to keep you warm through the night.

If you’re inclined to dress for our theme, think earthy and natural—mossy greens, mineral tones, and anything that feels connected to nature. Whether you go formal, casual, or get creative (yes, even a mushroom-inspired outfit would fit right in), we’re just excited to celebrate with you.

Wear what makes you feel great, and feel free to perform costume changes and go with the flow. Either way, we’ll be happy to have you with us and we’ll see you on the dance floor!

Accommodations

Staying On Site

Our wedding venue is located in Palomino Valley, NV (a subset of Reno). This is where the ceremony AND reception will take place. Please note, the property is not located in the heart of Reno and is located closer to Pyramid Lake, NV than it is to downtown Reno. Therefore, please prepare to be in an outdoor location with different weather patterns and conditions than you might find in the city. Pack smart and plan ahead.

If you plan to stay off-site, here are some locations for your consideration. The drive to and from the property back into the Reno/Sparks area will take about 35-40 minutes so please plan ahead. If you need additional assistance or have further questions, please contact us.
